GET OUTTA MY WAY

I've been very busy with school lately.  So busy that I hardly even have the time - or more importantly the energy - to fulfill my monthly boy quota.  Half kidding, but it's pretty upsetting.  I finish working in the studio late every night and want nothing more than an empty bed or a 40oz of bud.

I still adore the S/S 08 Lanvin dresses (below).  The ad campaigns for Lanvin that season are among the best I have ever seen.  Un fucking real.  A beautiful collection never loses its magic.  By the way, the rumors about Alber replacing Karl at Chanel always upset me because I fervently believe Lanvin has, under Alber's direction, become a stronger label than Chanel.  Karl is an extremely talented designer, but he is truly spread too thin between all of the lines he designs to create a single, strong collection.  And he might just take his success for granted after such a long career?  It's understandable, but I'm team Elbaz 100%.

  1. I completely agree. I feel Karl is extremely overrated. He relies solely on branding to pass off his lame, repetitive designs. I would love to see him step down and let a younger designer come in and revolutionize the house!
