A FEW THINGS
1. What I wore to work sometime in the last week or so
2. My F/W 07 Jil Sander boots that I wore to work that day. I love a good pointy toe.
3. My super old Balenciaga bag and a venti chai - sometimes I like to pretend I'm Mary Kate Olsen.
4. My friend Meredith's F/W 10 Viktor and Rolf ankle boots. Amazing.
5 & 6. Triple XL tee and some mesh panel leggings I made awhile back. The photos don't do the leggings justice.

WIDE LOAD
When I got this ridic jacket from the Cobrashop I was worried I wasn't going to get any wear out of it considering it's April. Wrongggg. Weather has been pretty unpleasant in NYC which is.. good, I guess?

THAT COLOR
A week ago I was stuck working in the studio very late several days in a row to finish a five piece look for class. I had an extraordinarily small amount of time to make everything so I focused most of my attention on the jacket I was making. It's actually the third motorcycle jacket I've made this year - one of the others was shorter, slimmer and in black leather (I'll get photos of it eventually) and then there was the dress I made in crepe (see it HERE).
This time around I wanted to switch things up a bit. Nothing radical, just a curved zipper that has a cutaway effect when worn open. The fabric was also extremely important. I intended on making the jacket in army green canvas or twill, but then I found this double face twill when I was shopping and the faded wasabi/chartreuse color proved irresistible.
The first four photos are from the third night working on it when I was finishing up; the photos after are of the jacket finished with the snaps put in on the collar and lapel. Annnnd I also took photos of the vest I was wearing the night I finished it.

SIX FEET UNDER
BURIED in my finals for school right now. This semester has been a gauntlet, and though I do see the light at the end of the tunnel there is still a disturbing amount of work I need to do. Expect a lot more editorial image posts in the next few weeks!

WHAM BAM THANK YOU MA'AM
A few weeks ago I made this mesh tee with leather and suede applique. I had intended on making it in black mesh, but I was too lazy to go out and buy some so I wound up using some nude mesh I had lying around instead. The effect immediately made myself and everyone else think of the Flintstones, so I took it further and added "BAM BAM" on the back. Needless to say, there were plenty of heads turning when I was running errands in Soho today.

FUTURE KINKY
I've mentioned Raphael Young's F/W 10 shoes so so so many times, but I've actually never shared these thigh high boots. They're 100% sci fi striperella "step on his balls" boots. Over. The. Top. So naturally when it got slow at work today I had to slip them on for a moment. The detail on them is amazing - they're leather and suede with starburst like geometric panelling running down the leg. Like all of Raphael Young's shoes, these are also lined in electric blue leather which, when you have this much shoe to look inside of, kind of makes you drool a little.

BIG RED
Just got this vintage motorcycle jacket from the Cobra Shop. It was a complete impulse purchase, but I'm always on the lookout for motorcycle jackets anyway, and how could I pass up a relic like this? You can tell how ridiculously large the shoulders are in comparison to my black moto..

THE BOY'S ROOM
Just before heading out for drinks earlier tonight I took some super classy photos in a bathroom. Wearing one of the tees Blood is the New Black sent me recently; you know I like it comfy n' casual. Also wore my "not trying to get laid tonight" boots. God knows no man in their right mind would approach me in these.

FEATURED ON
"Androgynous Pratt student documents his outfits that run the gamut from everyday college kid to flamboyant club kid. Anyone who throws on a pair of Balenciaga platforms or 9" fetish stilettos to cheer himself up is pretty awesome and entertaining in our opinion!"
TOPSHOP INSIDE-OUT BLOG
"Dressing up is what William loves to do most. This young designer from New York doesn’t dress for fashion but just to have fun and enjoy himself like the big kid that he is. Both adorned as a man and woman, his blog isn’t your common “check-out-my-outfit” type blog. It’s a journey into NYC’s crazy nightlife with party outfits straight from the young creative/transvestite scene. Juggling Timberland homemade platforms, tie-dye t-shirts, camo baggy trousers and an orange furry jacket, his looks are absolutely bonkers-awesom, leaving us wanting more everytime. We strongly recommend that you check out his collection too . Made from Japanese anime babe-printed fabric, it’s pretty darn cool."
LYNN & HORST"I strongly believe in the comeback of Manga and will further explore its use in contemporary art and fashion. Most probably, 'sexualization' will become a core motif. In the first instance, I'd like to draw your attention to the reanimation of Anime by Dripping Lazers."
